The UJF-6042 MkII is Mimaki's largest tabletop flatbed UV printer, bringing ease and efficiency to on-demand, direct-to-object printing. Its versatility unlocks unlimited opportunities to print on specialty items, awards, and personalized products — directly onto the substrate, in vibrant color, with no transfer step.

Print on a variety of substrates

The UJF-6042 MkII prints directly onto plastic, metal, wood, leather, glass, acrylic, and more. With a 24″ × 16.5″ print area and the ability to handle objects up to 6″ thick (153 mm), it accepts everything from flat panels to bulky three-dimensional items and personalized goods.

Industry-leading speed for a tabletop flatbed

Dependable productivity is built in — the UJF-6042 MkII prints approximately 52 A4-size sheets per hour in draft mode. The staggered print-head arrangement enables simultaneous two-layer printing, so you can lay down white underbase and color in the same pass when working with dark or transparent substrates.

Enclosed print area for cleaner output

The enclosed print area reduces dust contamination and UV exposure during a job, keeping prints clean and protecting operators. A fully covered print table prevents accidental contact with the moving carriage.

Table-driven motion for superior image quality

To reduce printer-unit vibration, the print table moves vertically during the print rather than the upper unit moving — delivering steadier carriage motion and noticeably crisper image quality on detailed work.

Direct printing on objects up to 153 mm thick

Advanced sensors detect even transparent objects, so the UJF-6042 MkII handles awards, electronics, packaging, and personalized goods that other flatbeds can't physically accept.

Mimaki Clear Control for premium clear effects

MCC (Mimaki Clear Control) manages high-quality clear-ink prints, adding a glossy finish on selected areas or building texture effects layer by layer. The included RasterLink RIP ships with the ARTISTA UV Texture Library — 129 ready-to-use texture patterns for Adobe Illustrator.

Eco-friendly UV-LED inks

UV-LED light cures the inks instantly, with low power consumption and long lamp life. Mimaki's UV-LED inks are GREENGUARD Gold certified and generate near-zero VOCs.

Flexible ink chemistries for every application

• LH-100 — rigid, highly scratch- and chemical-resistant; ideal for hard substrates
• LUS-120 — flexible ink that stretches up to 170% for soft materials
• LUS-150 — flexible ink with versatile adhesion (up to 150% stretch) and vibrant color
• PR-200 — primer that increases ink adhesion on difficult substrates; ink-jetted onto target areas

Image-quality control technology

MFD2 (Mimaki Fine Diffusion 2) controls dot placement to reduce graininess. MAPS4 (Mimaki Advanced Pass System 4) minimizes banding and uneven color at swath boundaries. Waveform control and variable-dot printing tune ink-drop placement per color, accounting for each ink's specific gravity and viscosity.

RasterLink6 RIP included

Mimaki's RasterLink6 RIP ships with the printer, including the ARTISTA UV Texture Library and color management profiles.
