Versatile by design
Engineered as a true hybrid, the GTX300 combines Direct-to-Garment and Direct-to-Film in one machine. DTG is great for cotton and natural garments — softer hand, fades and gradients, and printing over seams, zippers, and pockets. DTF is great for polyester and synthetics, oversized or XXL items, ganging small designs on one sheet, and non-traditional print locations. Utilizes Innobella Textile inks with ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX, GOTS by ECOCERT GREENLIFE, and CPSIA-compliant certifications.

What can the GTX300 print on?
It is a true DTG plus DTF hybrid. Run direct-to-garment for cotton and natural fabrics when you want a soft hand, smooth gradients, and prints over seams. Switch to direct-to-film for polyester, synthetics, blends, oversized or XXL work, and non-traditional print locations. One machine covers both.
What resolution and print area does it have?
The GTX300 prints at 1200 by 1200 dpi for sharp detail and vibrant color. Maximum print area is 16 by 21 inches on the wide platen, and it ships with a 14 by 16.54 inch platen. That covers oversized tees, hoodie chest panels, and full-back graphics.
What ink does it use, and is it certified safe?
It runs Innobella Textile water-based pigment ink in a 5 color setup, CMYK plus White. The ink is ECO PASSPORT, GOTS, and CPSIA compliant, so it suits a wide range of apparel including children's garments.
Does it need pre-treatment?
DTG printing requires pre-treatment before you print, applied manually or with an automatic pre-treat machine, then heat-set. DTF work does not use garment pre-treatment. We cover the full pre-treat and curing workflow during install and training.
What is included, and what do I need to run it?
Every machine includes GTX Graphics Lab software plus the print driver, and a 7 inch touchscreen controls the whole job. It connects over LAN or USB and runs on macOS 14 or 15 and Windows 11. Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are recommended for artwork prep.
Do you install and service it locally?
Yes. Berto delivers and installs across Southern California with day-of training, and our local field techs are in the same region, often same day, not a mail-in queue. We stock common parts and consumables, back it with Brother's one year warranty including the print heads, and give you access to Brother Academy and our Saturday workshops.
